UNN Cut Off Mark 2017: Good news, for those seeking Admission into the University of Nigeria Nsukka (UNN) 2017/2018 Academic session This is to inform you that the school Management of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, has officially announced the departmental cutoff mark for the various departments in the institution for 2017/2018 Academic session. All candidates seeking admission into the University of Nigeria, Nsukka can now check their cut off mark below.

After the removal of the Post UTME  by the federal government, the Joints Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) had awarded a score of 180 for all candidates applying for Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges of Education. So far, the University of Nigeria, Nsukka has followed the example in the 180-general cut of the mark.

Due to the high number of students wishing to study in the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, the admission processes is competitive and admissions is given based on the higher the jamb scores, the higher the chances of being admitted.

Candidates who have scored a minimum of 180 in UME examination is eligible to apply for admission into any of their choice courses.

UNN Nature of Admission Screening 2017

The University of Nigeria, Nsukka holds her admission screening exercises within a week or couple of weeks and it usually comes in two phases. Students who applied to study in the school are to proceed for the pre-screening exercise when once it is being announced.

Documents required for the pre-screening exercise are: SSCE result and JAMB registration print out only.

It is often important that candidate arrive early and locate his/her screening venue early. Candidates will be screened on the JAMB scores and their SSCE result

The second phase of the screening is after the admission lists might have been released. Candidates who have merited the admission will be invited for another screening exercise. Here is all documents needed:
1. Original copies of their educational qualifications (Statements of Results/Certificates).
N/B: Cases of awaiting results will NOT be accepted.
2. Birth Certification/Age Declaration.
3. A letter of good conduct from your Village Head or a responsible member of your
4. community/or civil servant not below Grade Level 10 or equivalent in the private sector.
5. Certificate of Local Government of origin; and this notification of admission status
slip.
